WHO HE IS

The Owner’s requirements analyst is an experienced professional who acts as an intermediary between the Shipyard and the Owner who is in the process of buying a new boat or is about to undertake a major refit of his boat. This particular figure, having learnt the operating logic of the systems proposed by the Shipyard, relates them to the Owner’s needs and mode of use of the boat, verifying their consistency.

WHAT HE DOES

If, for example, an owner prefers life in the roadstead, he would not like to find out that in order to charge his smartphone on his newly purchased yacht, it is necessary to switch on a generator! That’s when the Configurator, knowing the technical solutions applied by the Shipyard and having informed the Owner, will ask for a quote to put all or part of the sockets on board under inverter.

Inmar provides its Shipowners with expert Configurators: they are in-service Captains, with decades of sailing and cruising experience and with a long experience as yacht testers at important Shipyards. To complete the above, they are qualify to carry out surveys.
