The 63rd International Boat Show of Genoa opens its doors today with the inaugural conference “Industria Nautica. La storia del futuro”.

This year’s edition boasts 1,043 exhibited brands and a total of over 1,000 boats, ranging from 2 to 40 meters in length. The number of boats exceeds last year’s count by 143, thanks to the opening of new channels. Additionally, 184 new products will be showcased and premiered .

Among the various events taking place during the Boat Show, the fourth edition of the Design Innovation Awards is worth mentioning. An international jury, chaired this year by Maria Porro, President of the Salone del Mobile di Milano, will evaluate over 90 candidates to reward innovation, functionality, and sustainability .

To celebrate the maritime culture and the history of the event, this year’s edition will host two new projects: a photographic exhibition drawing from Il Secolo XIX’s historical archive and a film festival called “See2Sea,” dedicated to different ways of experiencing the sea .

This year also marks a significant transformation for the Boat Show’s location. It is now part of Renzo Piano’s virtuous Waterfront di Levante project. The new location aims to expand space availability for new exhibition solutions and services, offering visitors an increasingly spectacular and exciting venue .

The Boat Show will conclude on September 26th . For further information and tickets, please visit:
