From the 20th to the 22nd of May, the Dinghy 12′ will once again compete for the podium in one of the most important regattas for the Yacht Club Italiano, the SIAD Trophy – Bombola d’Oro. Entries open.
Again with Santa Margherita, Rapallo and Portofino as the natural backdrop, the coveted trophy, reserved for the overall winner, this year turns the corner of its first 25 years. Among the various prizes, there is also the Bombola d’Argento trophy, reserved for the Dinghy 12′ Classico – that is, with a hull and rig made entirely of wood – that has achieved the best result in the overall standings, the Giovanni Falck Trophy, for the team of three that has achieved the best overall result, the women’s title, and the Allievi Cup for the youngest helmsman. Prizes will also be awarded to the best Master (65+), Supermaster (75+) and Legend (80+). The Style & Elegance prize will also be awarded, put up for grabs by the children in memory of their father Corrado Cohen, a passionate dinghist.
Thursday 19th will be dedicated to registration, while the days of 20th, 21st and 22nd will see the Dinghies in the water with a program of 2 daily races for a total of 6 races.
With the publication of the Notice of Race, online registration is officially open on the dedicated page of the Italian Yacht Club.
